Founder, creator of the idea and author of Textile art workshop AlNada is Nada Aleksandrić.

The Geometer by profession but the artist and creative person by choosing, the idea for serious work with decorative haberdashery she had at the moment when she was equipping the house with the new unique bedspread, decorative pillows, and the curtains.

A first serious test for these products was the exhibit at the furniture fair in 2006. The visitors’ interest was above every expectation, which was an encouragement for expanding assortment and moving into the serious business.

Since 2008, Textile Art Workshop AlNada has been registered for the production and sale of decorative home textile, such as: decoration bedspread, tablecloths and rangers, a napkin ring, decorative pillow, and chair covers.

After the increased workload,  in activities of the workshop, my sister joined and that’s how this firm became a real family manufacture.

What makes AlNada stand out is that every product is unique, handmade, and designed by the customers’ wish, from quality textile. We pay attention to every little detail and make a strong effort to create a product that will make our customers happy.

Good reputation goes far, which in our case the interest of the domestic media for our work has confirmed. Many domestic magazines and newspapers featured stories about Textil art workshop AlNada in section small businesses and as a part of special edition of family magazine Lisa named “Handmade work as an inspiration”. We were also invited to participate in our most-watched television RTS in TV show that called “Žikina Šarenica”. One important part of this show was the award ceremony for the most successful businesswoman “Žena zmaj”.

But our dearest and the most important praises are the ones we get every day from our customers. They most value our attention and commitment to their every wish.We are working hard to meet their most specific requirements and put a big effort in the complete process of creating ordered products, starting with choosing materials, modifying customers’ ideas, all the way down to quality realization.

Our motto is: Small things make life beautiful, but beautiful life isn’t a small thing.
